Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, ensuring timely billing and collection of outstanding debts to maintain cash flow.
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies by liaising with clients to ensure accurate records and payments.
Prepare and analyze aging reports to identify overdue accounts and develop strategies for efficient collection.
Process incoming payments through various methods (checks, credit cards, electronic funds transfers) and ensure accurate allocation to accounts.
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues and improve customer satisfaction.
Monitor credit limits and assess customer creditworthiness to minimize financial risk for the organization.
Maintain detailed records of all communication with clients regarding payment statuses and follow-ups.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, providing insights on receivables performance and cash flow forecasts.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, providing a solid foundation for financial principles.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role, showcasing a track record of effective collections.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel to manage data efficiently.
Strong understanding of credit and collection practices, with the ability to mitigate financial risks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
