Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Oversees the strategic planning and execution of evaluation, accreditation, and academic program review processes throughout UAQU.
- Monitors and evaluates the university's progress towards achieving accreditation objectives and goals.
- Collaborates with the Institutional Research and Planning Specialist (IRPS) to manage the collection, compilation, and analysis of data related to faculty qualifications, curriculum, enrolment, and other academic tasks.
- Uses collected data for academic program reviews, self-studies, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Acts as the primary liaison for UAQU stakeholders, ensuring the effective dissemination of accreditation body reports and maintaining alignment with accreditation standards.
- Provides expert advice and assistance to UAQU stakeholders, faculty, and staff regarding the accreditation process and the university's journey toward achieving accreditation.
- Collaborates with the Director of QAD and the Institutional Research and Planning Specialist (IRPS) to compile evaluation reports.
- Summarizes findings and facilitate effective communication with UAQU representatives.
- Works closely with the Director of the Quality Assurance Department, Deans, and the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (VCAA) to prepare documentation for various accreditation processes, including Institutional Licensure (IL), Institutional Re-licensure (IRL), Initial Program Accreditation (IPA), and Program Re-Accreditation (PRA).
- Formulates responses to the ERT reports.
- Collaborates with the IRPS to produce UAQU's annual reports, showcasing the institution's achievements and progress in alignment with accreditation goals.
- Undertakes any additional tasks as assigned by the Director of QAD to support accreditation and related QA initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
/p>
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Education, Higher Education Administration, Quality Assurance, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related discipline.
- A Master's degree in Higher Education, Educational Leadership, Quality Assurance, or a closely related field is preferred and often a strong advantage.
