Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Advises on scientific and clinical approach and resources for programs/projects in the department.

2. Supports clinical research and technical staff assigned to programs/projects.

3. Participates in development of research proposals and projects.

4. Participates in communication of clinical/scientific results of programs/projects in publications and presentation.

5. Participates in preparation and review of manuscripts and research proposals.

6. Practices Good Research Practice (GRP) guidelines.

7. Facilitates training and education within the unit.

8. Participates in Department/Unit specific and Hospital wide quality improvement plan preferred.

9. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.

10. Participates in self and other s education, training and development, as applicable.

Desired Candidate Profile

Doctorate Degree (PhD, MD, DDS, or DVM) or equivalent degree in scientific discipline relevant to the research field is required.

Six (6) years of directly related experience post-doctoral degree required.

Scientific productivity must be measured in the form of publications in reputable scientific journals.
