Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the administration of all transportation operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize transportation efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the transportation administration team.
Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Monitor and analyze transportation metrics, preparing regular reports for senior management.
Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships related to transportation services.
Identify and resolve operational issues, implementing process improvements as needed.
Ensure all transportation documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with legal standards.
Oversee the maintenance and scheduling of the company s vehicle fleet.
Drive initiatives to enhance safety, sustainability, and customer satisfaction within transportation operations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 8 years of experience in transportation administration, logistics, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in a leadership or managerial role within transportation or logistics.
Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, compliance, and best practices.
Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in transportation management systems and office software.
Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence.
Experience in the garment or manufacturing industry is a plus.
