Roles & Responsibilities

Administrative, Accounting and Logistics Management Consultant


Working closely with partner organizations and members of the Oxfam team in Tunisia, the advisor will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the start-up of PCV activities in the country.
  • Support the teams in the documentation related to the PCV (requisitions, quotations, payment receipts) relating to payments and assist the finance department in monitoring payments.
  • Monitoring the logistical needs related to PCV volunteers and supporting them in their expense reports and reimbursement requests.
  • Strengthening the capacities of partners in financial and accounting matters.
  • Assist in the monthly preparation of forecasted cash requests for partners or volunteers as needed.
  • Support the monitoring of operating advances for volunteers and their settlement according to OXFAM's current procedures.

For this mandate you must:

  • Having the ability to plan, manage time and organize work.
  • To have a good understanding of the socio-economic context of Tunisia.
  • Mastering French, spoken and written (mandatory); Arabic and/or English are an asset;
  • Mastering the Office suite.

Desired Candidate Profile

For this mandate you must:

  • To have Canadian citizenship or permanent residency in Canada;
  • To hold a university degree in Finance, Accounting, Logistics, or any other relevant field;
  • Possess 2 years of relevant experience in the NGO sector and/or International Cooperation;
  • Knowledge and handling of computer tools and appropriate accounting software for NGO accounting.
