Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Monitoring employee attendance and discipline, updating daily attendance records, tracking absences and lateness, and submitting periodic reports to management.
Assisting the production manager in organizing and distributing daily tasks among the workers within the workshop.
Developing the technical skills and abilities of the workshop staff through organizing and managing workshops and training in handicrafts.
Preparing reports, documenting training, and developing a detailed curriculum (documented with pictures and videos) for each craft being trained on, enabling workers to refer to it later.
Assisting the production manager in monitoring product quality and coordinating with the team to find solutions for any issues or defects that arise.
Assisting the production manager in collaborating with the product designer to translate design ideas and develop them into prototypes.
Contribute to performance evaluation by collecting feedback and monitoring during daily operations.
Monitoring the work environment and reporting any regulatory or behavioral violations, and contributing to the resolution of minor administrative or operational problems.
Participating in organizing training workshops, communicating with trainees, and contributing to the selection of trainees.
Follow up on and organize all administrative tasks related to the workshop in full coordination with the project manager.
Supporting community outreach activities and coordinating with relevant government agencies regarding the workshop upon request.
Requirements
University degree in business administration, management, applied arts and architecture, or a related field.
Previous experience in administrative work, training, workshop/factory management, or community coordination roles is an added advantage.
High organizational skills and the ability to manage records and follow up.
Good communication skills and the ability to work with diverse work teams.
Full proficiency in MS Office programs (Word – Excel – PowerPoint)
Using drawing and design software such as AutoCAD or Adobe, or any similar engineering drawing software, is an added advantage
