Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for all HR related queries in alignment with UAQU policies and procedures.

  • Assist in recruitment process by sourcing, screening & shortlisting CVs, scheduling interview and conducting tests if required.

  • Maintain the personal records of faculty members on matters such as offer letter, employment contract, leaves, training, performance appraisals, etc.

  • Monitor regularly the attendance for all Faculty members and record all types of leaves requests.

  • Assist in providing advice regarding local labour regulations and ensure the relevant of UAQU HR framework is up to date, accurate and complies with the current UAE labour law & UAQU Human Resources Regulations.

  • Coordinate with the PRO for faculty members work permits/ employment visas as well as any other related procedure.

  • Ensure UAE nationals are registered at General Authority for Pensions and Social Security.

  • Communicate all new laws or rules issued by government including review of prices.

  • Keep records of visas renewal, health cards, national ID and other related documents for all faculty members.

  • Assist in the renewal of medical insurance process administration of medical insurance policy.

  • Ensure eligible faculty member are enrolled in the appropriate category of the Health Insurance plan and respond to queries from employees in the areas served regarding their health insurance.

  • Maintain and the medical insurance record between Employees and medical insurance company (follow up medical claims and reimbursement).

  • Submit accurate monthly report in relation to HR duties.

  • Assist with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office related to Faculty members.

  • Complete tasks as assigned withtin the expected time limit.

Qualification

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in the related field.

Required Experiences

  • Experience that demonstrates candidates ability to excel in this job.
  • 1-3 years related experience.
  • Experience in a multicultural environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

To provide appropriate day to day HR support to all UAQU Faculty Members to ensure excellent internal/ external customer service and quality standards are met. As well as deliver professional response to address all faculty member needs and requests in regards of HR services.
