Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Guide prospective students through the admissions process, ensuring they understand each step and its significance.
  • Conduct one-on-one consultations to assess candidates' educational backgrounds, career goals, and program fit.
  • Organize and lead information sessions and webinars to effectively communicate program offerings and advantages.
  • Evaluate applications holistically, providing detailed feedback on strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and educational pathways to offer tailored advice to students.
  • Collaborate with academic departments to align candidate profiles with program requirements and expectations.
  • Manage and update the admissions database, ensuring accurate tracking of candidate interactions and statuses.
  • Assist in developing marketing strategies to attract a diverse pool of applicants from various backgrounds.
  • Provide support during campus tours and open house events, answering questions and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Build and maintain relationships with high schools, community colleges, and educational organizations to enhance recruitment efforts.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Fluency in English, Arabic and French is required; additional language skills are a significant advantage in a multicultural environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.

  • Experience in admissions counseling ideally with a minimum of 1 year in an educational setting.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse students and families on a personal level.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and databases to manage candidate information efficiently.

  • A proven track record of meeting recruitment targets and effectively promoting educational programs.

  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple candidates and tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.

  • Ability to deliver presentations effectively, showcasing programs and addressing potential student concerns.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess applications critically and support informed decision-making.

  • A passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their academic and career aspirations.
