Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Guide prospective students through the admissions process, ensuring they understand each step and its significance.
- Conduct one-on-one consultations to assess candidates' educational backgrounds, career goals, and program fit.
- Organize and lead information sessions and webinars to effectively communicate program offerings and advantages.
- Evaluate applications holistically, providing detailed feedback on strengths and areas for improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and educational pathways to offer tailored advice to students.
- Collaborate with academic departments to align candidate profiles with program requirements and expectations.
- Manage and update the admissions database, ensuring accurate tracking of candidate interactions and statuses.
- Assist in developing marketing strategies to attract a diverse pool of applicants from various backgrounds.
- Provide support during campus tours and open house events, answering questions and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Build and maintain relationships with high schools, community colleges, and educational organizations to enhance recruitment efforts.
Desired Candidate Profile
Fluency in English, Arabic and French is required; additional language skills are a significant advantage in a multicultural environment.
Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
Experience in admissions counseling ideally with a minimum of 1 year in an educational setting.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse students and families on a personal level.
Proficiency in using CRM software and databases to manage candidate information efficiently.
A proven track record of meeting recruitment targets and effectively promoting educational programs.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple candidates and tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.
Ability to deliver presentations effectively, showcasing programs and addressing potential student concerns.
Strong analytical skills to assess applications critically and support informed decision-making.
A passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their academic and career aspirations.
