Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Objective
To support the operation department with designated NDT scope of work
To maintain health and safety standard within the SSI HSEQ department
Key Responsibilities/Duties
- Carry out IRIS, RFT, ECT, PAUT, MFL tube inspections
- Carry out Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) if qualified
- Carry out Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI) if qualified
- Carry out Radiographic Testing (RT) if qualified
- Carry out Ultrasonic Testing (UT) if qualified
- Interpret Industrial codes, standards, and specifications
- Review inspection results to determine if acceptable
- Interpret IRIS, RFT, ECT, PAUT, MFL and determine if acceptable
- Carry out visual inspections
- Follow approved test methods, techniques, procedures and work instructions
- Document inspection results and prepare inspection reports
- Clean parts/materials prior to inspection and after the completion
- Ensure good housekeeping in the immediate work place and surrounding premises
- Maintain organizations stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
Specialized Knowledge
Experience in NDT equipment s and familiar with manual, computerized reporting
Ability & Skills
Good communication skills written and verbal Mandatory requirement

Requirement
- At least 5 years of post-qualification experience
- At least one of these certifications is mandatory - ASNT - Level 2 or PCN Level 2 or ISO Level 2
- Must have experience in at least 2 of these methods - EDDY Current (ECT) testing, Internal Rotary Inspection System (IRIS), Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) testing
Experience
- Minimum 5 Years post qualification work experience as a SNT-TC-1A/ASNT Level 2 or PCN Level 2 or ISO Level 2 approved equivalent
- Experience in EDDY Current (ECT) testing, Internal Rotary Inspection System (IRIS), Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) testing
Academic Qualifications
- Undergraduate
- SNT-TC-1A/ASNT Level 2 or approved equivalent
