Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The work scope of the Aerodrome Inspector (AI) is to provide regulatory oversight of regulated aerodromes, to ensure compliance with the requirements of Qatar Civil Aviation Regulations (QCARs) and Civil Aviation Laws, and that the aerodromes are operated and maintained in a manner that put safety as a top priority.
Education:
A first-level university degree in the field of civil engineering, electrical engineering, airports engineering, or other aerodromerlated technical disciplines or in a related field;
Professional higher education in combination with extensive qualifying work experience in the field of civil engineering, airport engineering, airport operations or other aviation-related technical discipline, may be accepted in lieu of the first-level university degree.
Experience:
At least 10 years of experience, specifically:
As an Aerodrome Inspector in a Civil Aviation Authority, or In aviation-related
fields such as:
o Airport planning
o Design
o Construction
o Maintenance
o Operations
o Safety
management
Within an airport organization or international organization Core Skills Required
English level: Proficient
Familiar with Windows and MS office (word, excel, power point)
Good judgment and decision-making skills
Interviewing communication skills
Negotiating with outstanding interpersonal influencing skills
Possess excellent report writing skills
Presenting with personal presence and credibility
