Roles & Responsibilities

Aeronautical Painter


Main responsibilities

  • Prepare the surfaces (stripping, sanding, masking, cleaning)

  • Apply primers, paints and coatings according to the procedures

  • Make the necessary adjustments and corrections

  • Comply with technical specifications and quality standards

  • Check the quality of painted surfaces and perform visual inspections.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Complete the production documentation

Desired Candidate Profile

Desired profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in precision aeronautical or industrial painting

  • Experience in surface preparation and spray application

  • Good knowledge of painting products, processes and equipment

  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions

  • Attention to detail and rigor

  • Compliance with health and safety and environmental standards

Strengths

  • Experience in painting aircraft (fuselage, parts, components)

  • Knowledge of aeronautical standards

  • Experience in a hangar or paint booth environment

  • Certification or training in industrial painting

  • French/English bilingualism
