Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement agricultural systems and equipment to improve efficiency and sustainability.
- Conduct field research and analyze data to optimize crop production and soil management practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing agricultural processes.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of irrigation, drainage, and fertilization systems.
- Provide technical support and training to farm staff on the operation and maintenance of agricultural machinery.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations in all engineering projects.
- Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and presentations on project progress and outcomes.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to agricultural equipment and recommend effective solutions.
- Assist in the planning and execution of experimental trials for new crop varieties and farming techniques.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in agricultural engineering.
- Bachelor s degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related field.
- 2-3 years of professional experience in agricultural engineering or a similar role.
- Proven experience with fieldwork, crop management like grapes, and agricultural machinery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with precision agriculture technologies and sustainable farming practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of relevant environmental and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and data analysis tools.
- Willingness to travel to field sites as required.
