Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and implement agricultural procurement plans aligned with production forecasts and budget.
- Maintain a strong supplier database with updated pricing, certifications, and performance records.
- Build long-term partnerships with reliable suppliers to ensure continuous supply.
- Lead price negotiations, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contract clauses.
- Issue purchase orders and prepare/renew annual supply contracts.
- Monitor lead times and manage supply risks, especially during harvest seasons.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Food Science, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- 3-5 years of procurement experience, with at least strong>2-3 years in agricultural raw materials/strong>.
- Experience in strong>food manufacturing/strong> is a must.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural commodities (seasonality, grades, quality specs).
