Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct field assessments and soil analysis to diagnose crop health issues and identify nutrient deficiencies for data-driven recommendations.
  • Develop and implement integrated pest management strategies, minimizing pesticide use while maximizing crop protection to ensure sustainable practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend optimal irrigation methods and water management techniques, promoting efficient water usage and resource conservation.
  • Provide expert advice on crop selection, planting schedules, and harvesting techniques, considering local climate and market demands.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related field is a must to understand the fundamental of the role.

  • A Master's degree or Ph.D. in Agronomy is a plus for advanced research and expertise.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in agronomy, preferably in a similar crop or region is required to assess existing issues.

  • Proven experience with soil testing, plant nutrition, and pest and disease management is essential to deliver the best results. Managed product registration with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.
