AI Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Build core product systems end-to-end in a fast-moving startup environment
• Implement real-time call processing and risk classification systems
• Build and scale core API infrastructure for real-time audio/video streams
• Develop integrations with enterprise communication platforms
• Drive ML/AI development for threat detection, retrieval, and intelligence
• Establish reliability, testing, QA, and scalability as usage grows to millions of calls
• Partner closely with founders and enterprise customers on product and technical decisions

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong Python expertise (primary language)
• Solid ML fundamentals (modeling, deployment, applied deep learning)
• Production experience building LLM-powered applications
• FastAPI (or similar) experience
• Experience with real-time or streaming systems
• Full-stack generalist mindset (backend, ML, infra, DevOps)

• Nice to Have
• DSPy, PyTorch, MLOps, data engineering

• Postgres, DevOps, cloud platforms (AWS, Fly.io , Modal, etc.)
• Cybersecurity or ML security background
• React + Electron experience
• Practical use of AI dev tools (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.)

• Ideal Background
• Built 0-to-1 products at early-stage startups
• Early hire (top 5 10) who helped scale a product
• Experience across both startups and mature tech companies
• AI/ML or cybersecurity background
• Former founder or strong builder who prefers building over starting solo
