AI Individual Contractor for the Jordan Country Analysis

1. Background and Objective Jordan s next UN Cooperation Framework (PHONE_NUMBER) will be informed by a comprehensive UN Country Analysis (UNCA) to be completed in 2026. The UNCA is the UN Country Team s independent, systems-oriented analysis that identifies key development challenges and opportunities and proposes prioritized pathways for SDG acceleration, grounded in human rights, Leave No One Behind (LNOB), gender equality, and risk-informed approaches. In this context, the RCO is seeking an AI Individual Contractor to consolidate knowledge and data from across the UN Country Team (UNCT), enrich it with trusted national, regional, and global sources, and use this material to produce an initial Country Analysis draft. The assignment focuses on building an AI-enabled workflow that supports evidence-based analysis with clear references, quality controls, and full human oversight. 2. Scope of Work Under the supervision of the RCO Head Office and the CA focal point, the AI Individual Contractor will:

Knowledge Mapping and Data Management

• Identify and organize UNCT evidence library provided by the RCO and the Jordan UNCT.
• Define data governance rules, including confidentiality and access controls.

Data Ingestion

• Calibrate automated processes to ingest, clean, and standardize documents and data.
• Track sources, versions, and updates to ensure transparency and reliability.

Country Analysis Drafts

• Produce a full draft zero of the Country Analysis in line with the outline provided by the UNRCO, and subsequent updated drafts, based on comments received.
• Include clear references, tables, and traceable footnotes.
• Integrate cross-cutting themes such as Leave No One Behind, gender equality, youth, disability inclusion, climate, and resilience.

Review, Updates, and Delivery of final product

• Revise drafts based on feedback from UNCT technical reviews and consultations with partners and key stakeholders.
• Update the AI tool and related source materials as needed.
• Produce a final Country Analysis.
