Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The intern will work with the engineering team to experiment with open-source AI tools and contribute to building internal knowledge-AI systems.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting in building document-analysis AI systems using open-source LLM tools
Supporting the creation of knowledge bases using PDFs, websites, and structured data
Experimenting with RAG pipelines using tools such as AnythingLLM, Open WebUI, and Ollama
Supporting AI testing, benchmarking, and documentation
Assisting in developing Proof-of-Concept AI solutions for enterprise and government use cases
The intern will learn:
How enterprise AI knowledge systems are designed
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture
Running LLMs locally using Ollama
Document intelligence and AI automation workflows
Rapid prototyping of AI solutions for real-world business use
Desired Candidate Profile
Undergraduate or fresh graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or related fields
Basic Python or scripting knowledge preferred
Strong knowledge to experiment with emerging AI tools
Ability to learn quickly and document experiments
Good English reading and technical comprehension skills
