Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all AI-related roles including architects, AI Strategy Lead, Governance Lifecycle Management and Adoption Lead.
- Ensure alignment of AI COE initiatives with enterprise-wide business goals and lead cross-functional collaboration across departments to integrate AI solutions and serv as the go-to person for AI within Omantel.
- Monitor performance metrics and KPIs for AI COE Team.
- Represent the CoE in executive forums and communicate AI strategy to senior stakeholders.
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Master s or PhD) in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in AI leadership roles, preferably in enterprise environments.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional AI teams and delivering strategic AI initiatives.
- Deep technical expertise in AI/ML technologies, platforms, and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of AI governance, ethics, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with performance management and KPI tracking for AI functions.
