Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy AI-powered platforms and applications to enhance media education, such as automated content creation, intelligent tutoring systems, and media analysis tools.
  • Collaborate with staff to embed AI into coursework, assessments, and interactive learning experiences, ensuring alignment with pedagogical goals.
  • Create training materials and workshops to upskill educators and students in using AI tools for media production, analysis, and storytelling.
  • Explore emerging AI trends in media and education, pilot new technologies, and assess their impact on teaching and learning.
  • Work with educators, IT staff, and industry partners to align AI initiatives with institutional objectives and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize performance, and ensure AI tools are accessible, scalable, and user-friendly.
  • Explore emerging AI trends, enhance educational experiences through automation and personalisation, and empower students and faculty with cutting-edge AI skills.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by the line manager.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with educators, developers, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Desired Candidate Profile

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, AI, Media Technology, Educational Technology, or any related field.

Experience

- 2+ years of hands-on experience in AI development, educational technology, or media innovation.

- Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C++).

- Knowledge of media production tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Unity, or Unreal Engine for interactive media).

- Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP), computer vision, or generative AI for media applications.
