Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

-Receive pre alerts from customer service

-Check invoice, packing list and other documents

-Coordinate with the airline and arrange for ETA of cargo

-Preparation of customs documents based on invoice and packing list received from shipper

-Arrange all documents required as per import regulations

-Ensure the completed documents are received for customs clearance

-Ensure customs clearance of the related shipments are processed on time

-Coordinate with the transport department/vendors for delivery of shipments/proof of delivery

-Ensure that all job files are maintained

-Resolve issues regarding cargo shortage/damage/claims

-Develop and maintain a healthy relationship with internal and external customers

Desired Candidate Profile

-Should be based in UAE

-Fluent communication in English

-Prior experience with working in the air freight imports department

-Knowledge of customs declaration process is an added advantage
