1. Certify own work and the work of others after verifying that tasks have been performed in accordance with approved data and within the scope of authorization.

2. Organize plan and co-ordinate resources in the aircraft maintenance to ensure proper and timely repair

3. Supervision of staff under his control to ensure that the Company s Rules and Regulations and standards are adhered to and maintained.

4. Provide guidance and assistance to Technicians to ensure safe and effective working practices.

5. Ensure that all tooling and equipment provided is serviceable and calibrated and are operated to the Company s standards and report any unserviceability, to ensure corrective action is taken.

6. Ensure that all incident and accident occurrences are recorded and reported accordingly.

7. Inspection of work performed for Salam Air to ensure that airworthiness authority requirement, rules, regulations, procedures and directives are complied.

8. Actively follow and promote the procedures outlined in the Safety & Quality Management Systems.

9. Ensure that all work areas allocated, including aircraft Hangar are maintained in a safe and good housekeeping order.

10. Report to the Shift Leader in respect of all Airworthiness matters connected with the Terms of Approval as described in the Company exposition.

11. Ensure that all manuals and publications used are up to date, treated with care and returned to their storage location.

12. Coordinate and support the Shift Leader in having an effective defect follow up, proper troubleshooting and timely rectification of ADD/MDD, Hold item are cleared in the stipulated time.

13. Carry out maintenance in compliance with company, health and safety, and airport regulations.

14. Assist in ensuring proper work documents are raised, controlled and cleared in accordance with approved procedures and methods prior to releasing aircraft for service.

15. Supervision of all staff under him to ensure that the company s rules, regulations and standards and adhered to and maintained

16. Carry out any other Aircraft maintenance task as and when directed by Manager Line Maintenance.
