Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Accurately calculate fuel requirements based on flight plans, aircraft type, and weather conditions, ensuring precise fueling amounts to optimize performance and safety.
  • Operate fuel trucks and fueling equipment, including connecting and disconnecting hoses, monitoring fuel flow, and ensuring proper grounding to prevent static discharge.
  • Conduct pre-fueling inspections of aircraft fuel tanks, fueling systems, and equipment, identifying and reporting any discrepancies or potential hazards before fueling commences.
  • Monitor fuel quality, checking for contamination and ensuring compliance with aviation fuel standards, taking immediate action if any issues are detected.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundation for understanding technical procedures.
  • Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, essential for operating fuel trucks and equipment.
  • Obtain and maintain relevant certifications such as fuel handling and hazardous materials, showcasing commitment to safety.
  • Prior experience in aviation fueling operations or a related field is preferred, indicating familiarity with industry practices.
