Roles & Responsibilities

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

Ensures work is carried out in accordance with the approved data and standards and procedures detailed within the MOE.

Ensures strict tool control is carried out in accordance with tool control procedures.

Responsible for the quality and completeness of the work he carries out, or signs for as having been carried out on an aircraft or aircraft component in accordance with the approved data.

Works with in the requirements of the TSS quality Management System, safety Management System and the RSAF Technical Orders.

Completes Maintenance paperwork forms, appropriate aircraft forms, records and maintenance documentation both hard and electronic copies.

Ensures maximum effort is made to safeguard the TSS programme timescales in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.

Highlights to his immediate Line manager areas of inexperience or training requirements, for himself and others.

Provides On The Job and theory training for Trainees

Deputies, if required for the Aircraft Supervisor.

Desired Candidate Profile

Essential

A recognised qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level in a relevant technical discipline, or a technical apprenticeship, or suitable equivalent technical qualification acceptable to M&CA.

Has extensive post qualification practical maintenance experience within operational flying aircraft environment supported by formal recorded workplace applied related training or experience on same aircraft type OR successful completion of BAESSA apprenticeship programme (SNTTP/ TSNTTP).

Relevant type training ( Q Course) and equipment specific training if required.

The successful candidate, Saudi or Expatriate must obtain Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership at the appropriate level, prior to starting the new role or commencing employment in KSA, SCE membership must be maintained throughout their employment in this role.

Demonstrate knowledge/understanding of aircraft maintenance and engineering.

Understanding and application of Human Factors, error management, Health & Safety and proactive hazard analysis, appropriate to the role.

Desirable

Board aerospace and defence company / industry knowledge

An understanding of the RSAF Operation and working practices

Working knowledge of Q-pulse, IMS and an understanding of M&CA processes.
