Job Description: Aircraft Maintenance Weapons Engineering Curriculum Developer
Position Title: Curriculum Developer Aircraft Maintenance: Weapons
Job Summary:
We are seeking an expert in Aircraft Maintenance Weapons to develop high quality academic curriculum and courseware for City & Guilds (C&G) Level 3 Diplomas, adhering to L3 QHB standards. The candidate will create engaging, industry relevant educational content to train students in aircraft systems, ensuring alignment with aviation standards and academic requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop courseware for C&G Level 3 Diplomas, focusing on weapons systems.
- Ensure curriculum content aligns with L3 QHB standards and reflects current aviation industry practices.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create accurate, up-to-date, and engaging training materials.
- Incorporate theoretical and practical elements to prepare students for real-world aviation scenarios.
- Review and update existing course materials to maintain compliance with C&G and industry standards.
- Support instructors by providing guidance on curriculum delivery and content implementation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Weapons Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or graduate of an advanced military school or EASA Part 147 training centre.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance Weapons or related academic curriculum development.
- Proven experience in creating or teaching courseware for City & Guilds Level 3 Diplomas to L3 QHB standards.
- Strong knowledge of aviation systems, including Weapons technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for curriculum design and documentation.
- Proficiency in curriculum design tools and educational content development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating clear, instructional materials.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with military or commercial aircraft systems education.
- Familiarity with modern military aviation systems technologies i.e. Typhoons.
