Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for carrying out pre-departure checks & performing routine/ non routine Aircraft maintenance tasks as per his authorization scope issued by the company including but not limited to trouble shooting, components removal/ installation.
- Assist in conducting pre-departure checks.
- Ensure completion of all necessary manual and automated records as required by applicable regulations, manuals, contract guidance, and company directives.
- Responsible for reporting occurrences, events, violations, and actions that may affect safety, security, and company reputation to superiors.
- Participate in towing and movement of aircraft during maintenance activities.
- Perform pre-arrival inspections, including checking for Foreign Object Debris (F.O.D), and ensure the aircraft parking area is obstruction-free.
- Inform Aircraft Engineer, Quality Assurance & Safety Division of any procedural occurrences or discrepancies.
- Conduct ground cockpit communication via headset or designated signals during departure and arrival.
- Receive arriving aircraft, chock the wheels, and ensure firefighting equipment is available and serviceable on stands.
- Assist Duty Engineer in arranging maintenance steps, tools, equipment, and requested tasks like replenishing aircraft engine oil, oleo charging, and technical rectification.
- Ensure personal tools are available and in good condition when assigned to the aircraft.
- Ensure safety and quality in the tasks/functions performed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or equivalent
- Basic EASA License is preferable
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the maintenance of commercial aircraft
- Trouble shooting and problem solving skills
- Time management, team work and leadership
- Ability to interpret Aircraft Technical Manuals
- Excellent communications skills specially in English
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or equivalent
