Roles & Responsibilities
General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop and present business cases for proposed engineering and infrastructure projects, including feasibility analysis and strategic alignment.
- Lead the drafting and preparation of Request for Proposals (RFPs), including technical scopes, specifications, evaluation criteria, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct site visits to explain RFP content to vendors, clarify technical requirements, and ensure alignment with project intent.
- Coordinate with vendors and consultants during the RFP phase to address inquiries and provide technical clarifications.
- Participate in technical evaluation committees, including the development of technical evaluation criteria and scoring matrices.
- Prepare and structure Pricing BoQs, integrating stakeholder requirements and technical scopes.
- Conduct stakeholder engagement sessions to gather, validate, and incorporate functional and technical requirements.
- Create high-impact presentations for internal reviews, executive briefings, and external stakeholders.
- Produce and review architectural drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools.
- Ensure design compliance with local codes, standards, and sustainability goals.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to ensure project readiness and alignment.
- Support project lifecycle activities from initiation to procurement handover, including documentation and technical advisory.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited university.
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience in Airport/Aviation projects, including and able to draft RFP, scope of works, and specifications.
- Thorough knowledge of airport landside and Passenger Terminal operations
- Effectively uncover client needs and provide compelling solutions.
- Thoroughly perform site inventories.
- Stakeholder management and consultation
- Efficiently create uniquely desirable, artistic, and inspirational designs.
- Accurately prepare construction drawings and take-offs.
- Demonstrate and maintain a high knowledge of landscape trends, features, and techniques.
- Undertake a design project from concept to completion.
- Define project requirements and schedule during the brief.
- Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans.
- Set costs and project fees according to the budget.
- Willingness to conduct site visits and engage directly with vendors is mandatory.
- Proven experience in:
- RFP drafting and coordination
- BoQ development
- Stakeholder engagement
- Business case writing
- Vendor interaction and site visits
- Technical evaluation participation
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations is essential.
- Strong proficiency in:
- AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM platforms
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
