Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Support the merchandising team with timely and accurate allocation of products to stores.
- Ensure all deliveries and stock transfers are executed on schedule to minimize stockouts and lost sales.
- Maintain accurate product data and stock tracking across multiple stores and channels.
- Manage the full product lifecycle from initial allocation to replenishment and consolidation.
- Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and internal departments to ensure smooth product flow.
- Analyze stock performance reports to identify replenishment needs and opportunities.
- Prepare and maintain allocation reports to track stock movement and sales trends.
- Conduct regular visits to retail outlets to assess merchandising needs and understand store performance.
- Collaborate with planners and merchandisers to support seasonal product launches.
- Uphold Majid Al Futtaim s Dare Today, Change Tomorrow sustainability objectives by minimizing waste and optimizing supply efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
- High school certificate required; a bachelor s degree in business, retail, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail, inventory management, or merchandise allocation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and coordination skills across teams and departments.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Familiarity with retail systems, ERP, or stock management software is an advantage.
- Team player with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Desired Candidate Profile
