With the opening of its first Mothercare store, Alshaya Retail started its first international franchise relationship in the year 1983. Today, the retail giant operates through it’s over 3000 stores spread across the globe. These stores offer products across categories such as Leisure & Entertainment, Fashion & Footwear, Home Furnishings, Optics, Health & Beauty, Pharmacy, Office Supplies and Food Services. Alshaya Retail has its presence in countries such as Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Oman, Morocco, Iraq, Russia, Turkey, Poland, The Czech Republic, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. The group has associated itself with some of the most recognized retail brands from the world such as KidZania, Starbucks, Pottery Barn, H&M, Boots, Mothercare, Victoria’s Secret, Debenhams, The Cheesecake Factory, American Eagle Outfitters and P.F. Chang’s.
