Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from complex blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Perform cutting, bending, and shaping of aluminium sheets using various tools.
• Ensure that fabricated components meet quality assurance standards and specifications.
• Operate and maintain hand tools and machinery such as saws, drills, and grinders.
• Conduct welding and soldering to assemble and repair aluminium parts and structures.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to align processes with project requirements.
• Follow project deadlines and manage time efficiently to meet completion goals.
• Implement safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assess the condition of materials and perform quality checks before use in fabrication.
• Document completed work, including dimensions, materials used, and any modifications made.
• Participate in on-site measurements and adjustments to ensure fit and finish.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior fabricators and apprentices as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an aluminium fabricator or in a related metalworking role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with metal fabrication processes and techniques.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and machine operations pertinent to the role.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Stellar attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship consistently.
• Strong physical stamina to handle heavy materials and work in various conditions.
• Good communication skills to work effectively within a team and with other departments.
