Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analyze architectural blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings to accurately determine the scope of aluminum work, identifying materials, labor, and equipment requirements.
  • Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates for aluminum-related projects, including curtain walls, storefronts, and entrances, considering all project variables.
  • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes, negotiating pricing to secure the best value while maintaining quality and project timelines.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project conditions, identify potential challenges, and gather information for accurate estimating.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in construction principles.
  • Holds relevant certifications, such as AACE International's Certified Cost Professional (CCP), demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence.
  • Offers a minimum of 5 years of experience in aluminum estimating, showcasing proven expertise in the field.
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of the aluminum industry, specifically in curtain walls, storefronts, and entrances, enhancing project success.
