Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate aluminum fabrication activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
- Manage a team of aluminum fabricators, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to optimize productivity.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately plan and execute aluminum welding, cutting, and assembly tasks.
- Monitor and maintain equipment, tools, and machinery, arranging for repairs and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Train new employees on aluminum fabrication techniques, safety procedures, and the use of relevant equipment.
- Optimize fabrication processes and workflows, identifying and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Shows experience in the construction or manufacturing industry, with a focus on aluminum structures or products.
- Displays excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively leading and motivating a diverse team.
- Possesses strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, able to address challenges and implement solutions effectively.
- Exhibits proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications, ensuring accurate project execution.
