Position: Asst Manager /Dy Manager - Roll Shop -Rolling Mill

Qualification: Diploma -Mechanical
Experience: 10+ Years

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Roll Shop Engineer to manage roll shop operations in a rolling mill. The role involves planning, procurement, maintenance, and CNC/programming activities to ensure optimum roll performance, quality output, and uninterrupted mill operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee complete roll shop operations including roll grinding, dressing, and assembly.
• Plan and schedule roll shop activities in line with production requirements.
• Manage maintenance of rolls, chocks, bearings, and associated equipment.
• Handle procurement of rolls, spares, consumables, and vendor coordination.
• Develop and optimize roll pass design and programming (CNC grinding machines).
• Monitor roll performance, consumption, and lifecycle to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
• Ensure proper inventory control and availability of critical spares.
• Troubleshoot roll-related issues affecting product quality and mill performance.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams for continuous improvement.
• Maintain documentation, reports, and compliance with safety standards.
