AM - Mechanical Maintenance (Shift In charge) Rolling Mill

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle complete mechanical maintenance activities during the shift in the rolling mill
• Ensure smooth functioning of plant equipment with minimum breakdowns
• Lead and supervise a team of technicians and fitters during shift operations
• Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment
• Monitor equipment health and take corrective actions to avoid downtime
• Coordinate with production team to ensure uninterrupted operations
• Maintain shift reports, maintenance logs, and downtime analysis
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, tools, and spares
• Follow and enforce safety standards and maintenance procedures
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance efficiency

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of rolling mill mechanical systems & equipment
• Experience in shift handling and team supervision
• Expertise in preventive & breakdown maintenance
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Basic knowledge of maintenance planning tools / ERP systems
• Good communication and coordination skills
