About American Community School

Since ACS was officially established as a fully independent nonprofit school in 1972, we have empowered generations of students to define and shape their futures through learning, service, and global citizenship. From a small community school of 50 students in a city that looked very different than it does today, ACS has grown into one of the most respected and established international schools in the UAE. More than five decades on, ACS continues to build on its proud legacy — remaining steadfastly committed to ensuring our students thrive in a rapidly changing world.
