ROLE PURPOSE:

Perform all tasks in efficiently managing the OLNG s data assets and information systems by implementing efficient solutions to improve the information system and instituting adequate data governance to streamline and maintain OLNG s operation and processes through digital intervention in line with established policies, processes, and applicable regulations

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Enterprise Information Management Operations:

Classify, collate, and prepare platforms / database for storage of various type of information both electronic and hard copy

Classify, collate, and prepare platforms/databases for storage of various types of information, both electronic and hard copy, leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to automate data categorisation, extraction, and tagging processes for enhanced efficiency.

Design information management modules and ensure data integrity measures are in place adhering to OLNG norms and regulatory requirements, incorporating AI-driven validation and anomaly detection to proactively identify and address data quality issues.

Ensure the information management strategies and modules meet business requirements in terms of retrieval of data and knowledge management

Develop strategies and suggest management systems for the storage of information in the organization

Act as a focal point for all audits including external and internal assessment for IT function

Create and provide support to develop information management for management review and decision making

Assist and contribute towards maintenance of relevant procedure and work instructions

Assist in the development, publishing, and maintenance of the OLNG s information architecture, as well as a roadmap for its future development, ensuring that it matches and supports business needs

Participate in the integration and staging of data, and the development and maintenance of the data lakes, data warehouse and data marts, for use by analysts throughout the organization

Evaluates, selects, and aligns artificial intelligence technologies with the organisation s business objectives. This role ensures that AI solutions are both technically robust and tailored to meet strategic requirements, facilitating seamless integration with existing systems.

Manages communications and relationships with external AI vendors. This role is responsible for sourcing, assessing, and integrating the latest AI products and services, guaranteeing that the organisation remains at the forefront of technological advancements.

Continuously scans the evolving AI landscape, tracking emerging trends, technologies, and competitors. This specialist provides actionable market intelligence that supports leadership in strategic planning and future-proofing the organisation s AI initiatives.

Ensures all AI systems and processes adhere to regulatory standards and ethical guidelines. This role monitors data privacy, fairness, and transparency in AI deployments, helping the organisation maintain public trust and avoid legal pitfalls.

Oversees end-to-end deployment of AI solutions, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring deliverables are met. The project manager bridges technical and business needs for successful, on-time implementation.

Develops and delivers training programmes to onboard staff with new AI tools and foster a culture of digital literacy. This role champions user adoption and addresses change management challenges as AI solutions are rolled out.

Maintains and improves the integrity of datasets used for AI systems. This specialist ensures the data feeding models is accurate, well-documented, and fit for purpose, supporting reliable results and continuous improvement in AI outcomes.

Data Governance and Compliance Management:

Provide support in creating policies and controls for the appropriate protection of information assets, such that it covers a defined information life cycle, from acquisition or creation to end of life destruction and disposal procedures

Maintain master data and reference data in compliance with the policy, standards, and conceptual models, and assure the deployment and management of data quality monitoring practices

Ensure that appropriate audit controls exist for data and analytics that serve as the source material for regulatory reports

Management of Information Systems:

Sustain information systems results by defining, delivering, and supporting information systems, and auditing application of systems

Enhance information systems results by identifying information systems technology opportunities

Documentation and Reporting:

Ensure timely delivery of required information to the stakeholder maintaining the quality and correctness of information

Continuous Improvement:

Participate in the continuous improvement of the information management by establishing corporate information management awareness and learning initiatives

Utilize the training and learning opportunities provided by the organization to develop competencies in specialist areas and work towards self-development
