Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Analysis and consolidation of budgets and forecasts

  • Validate the budgets and forecasts of the various subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with group guidelines.
  • Consolidate this information to provide an overall view of the performance of local entities
  • Use data management tools to automate and improve the reliability of financial data collection and consolidation.

2. Verification of compliance with standards

  • Ensure compliance of financial practices with international (IFRS) and internal group standards
  • Identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions to optimize monitoring and compliance with these standards

3. Optimization of costs and financial processes

  • Identify opportunities to optimize costs and streamline financial processes in collaboration with local teams.
  • Leveraging data analytics and scripting tools (Python, VBA) to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes
  • Formulate recommendations to improve process efficiency while ensuring data reliability.

4. Reporting et Communication

  • Prepare summary reports for financial managers, enabling them to monitor performance and adherence to budgetary objectives.
  • Develop interactive and automated dashboards (Power BI, Excel, Python) to facilitate data visualization and analysis.
  • Maintaining fluid communication with subsidiaries to ensure the implementation of best practices and alignment with the group's financial strategy

Desired Candidate Profile

Formation et exp rience :

  • Master's degree (Bac+5) in finance, accounting, management, data finance or equivalent field
  • 2-3 years of experience in banking, insurance or auditing firms, with exposure to international financial standards and expertise in budget validation and consolidation.
  • Ideally, practical experience in data management, scripting, and financial process automation using Python and/or VBA.

Human and technical skills:

  • Rigour and organisation: attention to detail to ensure the conformity and quality of financial analyses
  • Initiative and autonomy: ability to identify and propose avenues for optimization
  • Clear communication and empathy: ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, both at headquarters and in subsidiaries.
  • Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Knowledge of SAP is an asset. Experience with Python and VBA for automating and analyzing financial data.
