Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret large data sets related to ancillary sales, customer behavior, and market trends to identify revenue growth opportunities.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Lead and manage projects related to ancillary product launches, enhancements, and promotional campaigns in collaboration with cross-functional teams including IT, marketing, and retail.
- Support the design and implementation of ancillary e-commerce platforms and retail initiatives, ensuring seamless integration with existing airline systems.
- Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot, enhance, and innovate revenue-generating digital tools and systems.
- Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends in ancillary products and e-commerce to recommend best practices and innovative solutions.
- Work closely with commercial, retail, and IT teams to ensure ancillary offerings align with customer needs and company revenue targets.
- Develop business cases and performance metrics to support investment decisions for ancillary projects.
- Provide training and support to airline staff on ancillary revenue tools and processes to ensure optimal usage across departments.
- Oversee integrations with third-party service providers (insurance, baggage, seats, inflight services, etc.).
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Aviation Management, Business, Economics, Data Science, IT, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
Minimum 3-5 years experience in ancillary revenue management, data analytics, e-commerce, or related roles within the airline or travel industry.
Proficient in data analysis tools with hands-on experience in Power BI or similar BI platforms.
Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, online retail, and digital product strategies.
Proven experience in project management with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of airline IT systems and ancillary revenue management software is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of airline distribution systems (PSS, GDS, IBE, APIs).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
Experience with SQL, Python or other data analysis programming languages is a plus.
