Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior developers to design, build, and maintain Android applications for our e-payment platform.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Kotlin or Java.
  • Work with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Ensure a smooth and responsive user experience across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Assist in the testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
  • Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and improve code quality.
  • Engage in Agile development practices, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide input on features and enhancements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Seek opportunities to improve skills and contribute to the team s knowledge base.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in Android development (internships or academic projects included).
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java and familiarity with Android SDK and Android Studio.
  • Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Knowledge of mobile UI design principles and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
