Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain anaesthesia equipment, ensuring all devices function correctly and are readily available for procedures.
  • Assist anaesthesiologists during procedures by anticipating their needs and providing necessary medications and supplies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of anaesthesia procedures and patient monitoring data, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
  • Participate in the inventory management of anaesthesia supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a Diploma in Anesthesia Technology or a related field, providing a strong foundation in anesthesia principles.
  • Bring 1-3 years of experience in an anesthesia technician role, showcasing practical application of skills in a clinical setting.
  • Show fluency in English, enabling clear communication with medical staff and patients; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Be physically capable of standing for extended periods and assisting with patient positioning and equipment handling.
  • Possess the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, especially during emergency situations.
