Key Responsibilities

* Assist in daily animal care routines, including feeding, training, and behavior observation.
* Support animal encounters, ensuring safety protocols are followed for both animals and guests.
* Maintain and clean animal habitats, ensuring optimal living conditions and presentation standards.
* Prepare and portion animal diets as instructed by senior caretakers.
* Monitor and report inventory levels of food, tools, and cleaning materials.
* Participate in educational talks and public presentations to enhance guest understanding of wildlife and conservation.
* Uphold the highest standards of animal welfare, hygiene, and guest engagement.

Ideal Profile

* Certificate or diploma in Animal Care or related field; practical animal handling experience preferred.
* Excellent verbal communication skills with the confidence to interact with guests.
* Physically fit, capable of handling labor-intensive tasks and working in cold environments.
* Basic understanding of animal behavior, safety, and care procedures.
* Knowledge of Life Support Systems (LSS) is an advantage.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for recordkeeping and documentation.
