Greenpeace MENA

Background on Greenpeace MENA:

Greenpeace Middle East and North Africa (MENA) was established in 2018 to address the unique and complex environmental and climate challenges facing this region we call our home. As a politically and financially independent non-profit organisation, we are dedicated to empowering local communities and collaborating with allies to develop innovative and practical solutions that help people to live in harmony with the environment.

Greenpeace MENA (GP MENA) is implementing a 3-year Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Safety (JEDIS) Strategic Plan to embed an intersectional and contextualized understanding of JEDIS across all departments. A key priority is to strengthen the onboarding experience of new staff through a tailored induction video series that reflects the regional context, values, and policies of the organization.

Background on the Project:

As part of its JEDIS Strategic Plan, GP MENA is working to strengthen understanding and implementation of integrity systems across the organization. While integrity policies exist, there is a need to make them more accessible, user-friendly, and actionable for staff and volunteers. This includes simplifying complex policies and clearly communicating reporting mechanisms and procedures.
