It is a joint venture with Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group of Bahrain, operating under a 25 year concession. APM Terminals is a global terminal operator, which is named among the most modern service providers in the Gulf. This facility is also named among the most productive ports globally, because of its ability to handle container vessels. Supervised and regulated by the Ports & Maritime Affairs, APM Terminals functions in line with the concession agreement.

 

It features 4 STS cranes with an 18 rows outreach container, capable to handle vessels having a capacity of 10,000 TERU. With a productivity level of 35 gross moves every hour and with an annual throughput capacity of 1 million TEUs, this company is among the most reputed names in the domain. APM Terminals conducts business complying with the highest level of environmental, societal and ethical standards in accordance with its core values.
