Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical support for metal cutting and sheet metal machine tools, assisting customers with applications and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on machine operation, programming, and maintenance to enhance customer proficiency.
  • Conduct on-site machine demonstrations and performance evaluations to showcase capabilities and optimize customer workflows.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer needs and propose tailored solutions using cutting-edge machine tool technology.
  • Create detailed technical documentation, including application notes, manuals, and training materials, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Analyze customer manufacturing processes, recommending improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve part quality.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in metal cutting and sheet metal technologies, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to provide feedback on product design and performance, contributing to continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the metal cutting or sheet metal industry, demonstrating practical expertise.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code) and CAD/CAM software.
  • Holds certifications in relevant machine tool technologies or manufacturing processes, showcasing specialized knowledge.
  • Exhibits a solid understanding of machine tool mechanics, tooling, and cutting parameters, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Demonstrates excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, effectively resolving complex technical challenges.
  • Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with customers and collaborating with teams.
  • Shows the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively, meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrates a proactive and customer-focused approach, providing exceptional service and building lasting relationships.
