Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. New Product and Packaging Development
- Lead new product and packaging development from the Identify Stage based on the project scope, until Deliver Stage ( including prototyping activities and assessment , passing through manufacturing feasibility taking in account the product composition , manufacturing design , product financials ) , complying with quality / regulatory & costs requirements.
- Develop new / alternative raw materials and specifications including industrial trials (at factory or co-manufacturer) and validates process parameters.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to define release norms on line and for the finished product. Support in shelf life , pHACCP, pQMS , product specification validation .
- Create the material / Codes / BOMS in SAP .Provide support to SBU / PTC and local management for technical acceptance and release as per relevant guidelines and standards.
2. Product and Process Mastership:
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders in the factory ( production , QA, Eng, buyers,..) , market , center ( CTAG ,PTC, CTU .. ) and suppliers, to assess and optimize the processes and lines performance.
- Engage in managing change process whenever the process control parameters are modified.
- Contributes to cost improvement initiatives (process and products specifications).Mastering the dry mixing technologies as Factory Subject Matter Owner and with the support of Global Subject Matter Owner ensure relevant standards are in place.
3. Recipe Management
- Ensure that recipes database is updated and that the recipes are distributed as per guidelines as well as compliance with national & International audits for recipes & BOM maintenance.
- Conduct process audits for compliance to the issued recipes.
4. People Development
Ensure development of competencies of operators & disseminate process best practices and knowledge at the shop floor . Source & utilize training materials available within the group (or develop training materials as appropriate)
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor Degree in Food Engineering, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry .br> Operational Experience: Preferably experience in food manufacturing in application / product / packaging development , Manufacturing or Quality within the same product category.br> Experience in Project management / Stakeholders management
Experience in Problem solving methodologybr> Knowledgeable in filling and dry mixing technologiesbr> br>
