Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • ERM Framework Oversight: Monitor and maintain the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Risk Assessment Engagements: Execute and align Enterprise Risk Assessments with regulatory requirements and organizational risk controls.
  • Risk Registers Development: Assist in creating risk registers and identifying Key Risk Indicators to strengthen risk ownership and implement risk management tools.
  • RCSA Process Facilitation: Oversee and facilitate the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process across business functions.
  • Collaboration with ERM Team: Coordinate with the group ERM team to ensure alignment with the Group level ERM framework.
  • Risk Assessment Communication: Analyze risk assessment results, provide recommendations, and communicate findings to Management, the Risk Management Committee, and the Board of Directors.
  • Monitoring Internal and External Issues: Track and update on internal findings, external exam issues, and self-identified risks from assessments.
  • Risk Treatment Strategies: Recommend and support Team leader in treatment strategies for emerging risks and provide insights to business units and senior management.
  • Employee Training: Organize and deliver risk awareness and training sessions for employees.
  • Business Continuity Management: Lead the Business Continuity Management efforts, conducting business impact analyses and preparing for incident responses as BCM Champion

Key Accountabilities:

  • Carry out daily operations assigned for the department to comply with the company s standards.
  • Prepare timely and accurate department reports to meet the requirements, objectives, and standards of the company and the department.
  • Ensure the satisfaction of internal and external customers to address their needs in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and processes in order for the work to be carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices, work processes, cost effectiveness, and productivity enhancement.
  • Promote to other employees within the organization the implementation and adherence to policies, procedures, processes, and instructions.
  • Maintain a good and respectful relationship with other colleagues and represent the company in a good image.

Education and Certifications:

  • A bachelor s degree in Business, Finance or Economics or related discipline

Knowledge and Experience :

  • 3 + years of experience in Operational Risk /Enterprise Risk Management

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication skills, in both Arabic and English
  • Team-oriented and be able to collaborate effectively in department and cross-departmental efforts
  • Ability to build strong and productive relationships with First Line stakeholders
