Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to handle application deployment and client support.
You will ensure smooth delivery of our software solutions and help resolve technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure application components and web releases on IIS.
- Create, Run, modify, and validate SQL scripts for database updates (MSSQL).
- Troubleshoot issues by reviewing application logs, event logs, and SQL errors.
- Manage and update support tickets, escalating when necessary.
- Document procedures and create installation, configuration, and user guides.
- Communicate with clients to understand issues and help reproduce/resolve them.
- Handle Urgent Production Support with Clients
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 4+ years experience in application support or software deployment.
- Strong knowledge of IIS, MSSQL, networking, and HTTP fundamentals.
- Very good English (spoken and written).
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and follow change control processes.
- Detail-oriented, hardworking, and adaptable.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to explain technical topics in a simple, clear way.
- Good understanding of customer workflows and business processes.
