Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We re looking for a hands-on Power Platform Support Engineer to provide Level 2/Level 3 support for business-critical solutions built on Microsoft Power Platform including Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Dataverse, Plugins, Custom APIs, Power Automate, and HTML/JS Web Resources. You ll be the technical backbone of day-to-day operations: troubleshooting incidents, optimizing performance, handling deployments, improving reliability, and ensuring seamless user experiences across CRM and related business processes. Ideal for someone with strong Dynamics 365/Dataverse fundamentals, who can read logs, debug plugins/flows, and communicate clearly with both business users and dev teams.
Incident SLAs: % resolved within target (e.g., P1: 4 hrs, P2: 8 hrs, P3: 2 days).
Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR) and Reopen Rate.
Flow Success Rate & Plugin Error Rate trending.
Defect Leakage post-deployment (UAT Prod).
Knowledge Base Coverage & usage.
User Satisfaction (CSAT).
Tools & Platforms Used
Power Platform Admin Center, Solution Explorer, Monitor (Canvas).
Dataverse: Advanced Find, FetchXML Builder, XrmToolBox.
Dev: Visual Studio/VS Code, Postman, Fiddler, Browser DevTools.
ALM: Azure DevOps Pipelines, Git, Work Items.
Observability: Plugin Trace Logs, Flow Analytics, Application Insights (if wired).
Collaboration: Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Confluence/Wiki
Desired Candidate Profile
3 6 years supporting Dynamics 365 / Power Platform solutions in production.
Strong understanding of:
Canvas Apps: delegation, performance, controls, Patch/Collect/With, offline strategies.
Model-Driven Apps: forms, views, business rules, command bar, JS events, PCF basics.
Dataverse: tables, relationships, alternate keys, plugins, web hooks, column types.
Power Automate: triggers, concurrency, retries, error handling, expressions, approvals.
Plugins/Custom APIs: C#, .NET, Dataverse SDK, execution contexts, service protection limits.
Web Resources: HTML/CSS/JS, form scripting, Xrm APIs, FetchXML.
Familiarity with ALM using Solutions, Environment Variables, Connection References.
Hands-on with Azure DevOps/Git for version control & pipelines.
Strong troubleshooting skills using Power Platform Admin Center, Plugin Trace Logs, Flow Run History, Monitor (Canvas), Chrome DevTools, Fiddler/Postman.
