Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Administer and support Oracle E-Business Suite / Oracle Applications environments.
Perform installation, configuration, tuning, patching, and upgrades for databases, including:
Oracle Database (including RAC and ASM)
SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL (with Pgpool and Sharding)
Manage and configure Oracle APEX applications.
Administer and support WebLogic Server for application deployment and performance tuning.
Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions.
Ensure high availability, backup, and disaster recovery solutions across platforms.
Work with development and infrastructure teams to support application lifecycle and deployment.
Implement database security policies and best practices.
Develop and maintain documentation for database architectures, configurations, processes, and procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as an Applications DBA or similar role.
Hands-on experience with:
- Oracle E-Business Suite / Applications DBA tasks
- Oracle RAC and ASM
- WebLogic Server
- SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB administration
- Oracle APEX development/support
- PostgreSQL Sharding and Pgpool setup and tuning
- Strong understanding of database security, backup, recovery, and high availability.
- Excellent problem-solving and performance tuning skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
