Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Design, manage, and support enterprise web applications to ensure reliability, scalability, and optimal performance.
- Monitor application health, identify performance issues, and implement corrective and preventive solutions.
- Administer and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity, backups, recovery procedures, and system optimization.
- Manage cloud hosting environments, including deployment, configuration, monitoring, and resource optimization.
- Oversee storage systems to ensure efficient data management, accessibility, and security compliance.
- Support application deployments, upgrades, and system enhancements while minimizing operational downtime.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to maintain stable and secure application environments.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, cybersecurity standards, and industry best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers or support teams when required.
- Maintain proper system documentation, operational procedures, and technical reports.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- 15+ years of professional experience in web applications engineering and enterprise system environments.
- Proven hands-on experience in database management, including maintenance, performance monitoring, and data security practices.
- Strong exposure to cloud hosting platforms and modern storage technologies.
- Relevant professional certification in applications engineering, cloud computing, infrastructure management, or related technical discipline.
- Solid understanding of application lifecycle management, system integration, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Experience working with cross-functional technical teams and supporting business-critical applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex technical environments.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with internal stakeholders and technical teams.
