Roles & Responsibilities

Health Informatics Role & responsibilities


  • Teaching & Curriculum Development: Deliver lectures, design, and revise curricula for medical and postgraduate programs.
  • Clinical Training & Lab Management: Supervise student labs, practical clinical training, and internships, often utilizing high-precision laboratory equipment.
  • Research & Scholarship: Conduct independent or collaborative research, publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, and pursue extramural funding.
  • Mentorship & Student Support: Mentor students, advise them on career paths, and oversee academic progression.
  • Service & Administrative Duties: Participate in institutional committees, departmental meetings, accreditation processes, and professional development activities


Skills: Strong research methodology, proficiency in laboratory diagnostics, excellent communication, and a commitment to evidence-based health practices.
